Serving During Worship
Deacons and deaconesses help prepare the church for worship, welcome people practically, support communion services, assist with order, and help the congregation feel cared for.
Practical Care
The ministry may also support visits, member care, preparation for special services, hospitality, and practical needs that arise around church gatherings.
How To Serve
Members who feel called to practical service can learn about the role, expected commitment, and who to speak to about joining the team.
